Mr Joli Môme.: Alexander McQueen is my Hero.

Comme beaucoup d'entre vous le savent, Lee Alexander McQueen nous a quitté le jeudi 11 février 2010. Je suppose que la disparition de ce grand créateur ne parle pas beaucoup au grand public dont il n'était pas particulièrement connu, bien qu'il ait attiré l'attention générale avec sa collection Printemps/Eté en proposant des chaussures futuristes absolument fantastiques. (Lady GaGa portera par la suite une tenue total look pour son clip "Bad Romance") Néanmoins, il m'est cher de lui porter ce dernier hommage, en écrivant cet article afin que les éventuels lecteurs qui ne savent pas qui il est puisse avoir un aperçu d'une partie de l'univers de ce génie.

Alexander McQueen était un designer étonnant, surnommé "L'Enfant Terrible de la Mode" il savait nous surprendre chaque saison.

"Né le 17 mars 1969 en Angleterre, il quitte l'école à 16 ans pour travailler sur Savile Row, une rue de Londres connue pour ses tailleurs pour homme. Il travaille comme assistant auprès de plusieurs costumier, avant d'intégrer en 1994 l'école d'art Central Saint Martin's dont il sort diplômé, avec sa collection de fin étude achetée dans sa totalité par Isabella Blow, critique de mode. C'est le début de sa carrière, il travaillera chez Givenchy à la suite de Galliano, puis travaillera pour sa propre marque à la suite de son rachat par le Gucci Group.

Il recevra plusieurs prix prestigieux, dont le British Best Designer of the Year qu'il recevra 4 fois de suite."

I guess that the disappearance of this amazing designer didn't really touch the people who aren't really familiar to the fashion world, even if he took a lot of people's attention with his outstanding futurist shoes during Spring/Summer 2010's Fashion Week. (Lady GaGa is wearing a total outfit from this collection in her videoclip "Bad Romance") However, it mattered to me to do a little something about him, in writing this article, so the readers who might don't know him could have a look on a part of the fantastic universe of this genius.

Alexander McQueen is a really surprising designer, called the "Hooligan of Fashion", he knew how to amaze everyone every season.

"Born in March, 17th 1969 in England, he quite school when he's 16 to work on Savile Row, a street in London known for her men tailors. He works as an assistant for some tailors until 1994, when he get into the Central Saint Martin's art school, where he gets his diploma and his all final year's collection bought by Isabella Blow, a fashion critique. It's the beginning of his career, he succeed Galliano at the head of Givenchy, and then work for his own brand after the Gucci Group bought a part of his company.

He received 4 times the British Best Designer Award, and some other prestigious ones."
